Jan 15, 2004 There weren’t any rants for a long time. Well, I guess they weren’t needed, comic speaks to itself. Still, we’ll try to be more talky in future. * * * Can I plug a site for a moment, Charm? Well, I’ve been co-working on this site called How not to run a comic. It started as a joke, but is appearing to be rather useful kind-of-tutorial because lots of people are showing what they don’t want to see in a webcomic there. Plus, it’s funny. You can read it as parody, as tutorial, or contribute by sending your own entry. * * * Comic Writer X is here for a long time now, and proven to be successful and even loved. While browsing through old comic, I realized how much our styles changed, both drawing and writing. Current state of the comic is satisfying for me, and I believe to Charm and Nawa too, bit I also think that it’s what we actually imagined when starting CRX (though it was not at the beginning, really). * * * It’s fun to draw something that hasn’t been planned through and to draw adventures where I actually don’t know the ending already. I haven’t had that chance with mcDuffies.
